Day 0 – Arrival in Tripoli
Departure from Budapest to Tripoli, the capital of Libya ⮕ Meet your local guide upon arrival and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
Day 1 – Sabratha & Tripoli City Tour
After breakfast, explore the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Sabratha, once an impressive Roman city ⮕ Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Tripoli to visit its traditional souks and monumental architecture ⮕ Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 – Roman Heritage Day
Breakfast, followed by visits to additional UNESCO-listed Roman sites, including the Amphitheatre, the Arch of Septimius Severus, Hadrian’s Baths, and the Gate of Tiberius ⮕ Lunch at a local restaurant, then return to the hotel for dinner.
Day 3 – Jebel Nafusa & Transfer to Ghadames
After breakfast, leave the capital and head to Jebel Nafusa ⮕ Visit Qasr al-Hajj, a remarkable 12th-century granary, then explore the village of Tarmeisa and the Jabu Museum ⮕ Lunch at a local restaurant, followed by arrival in Ghadames ⮕ Check-in and dinner.
Day 4 – Discovering Ghadames
Spend the day exploring the historic city of Ghadames, a UNESCO World Heritage site known as the “Pearl of the Desert.” Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant ⮕ In the afternoon, head toward the nearby Sahara dunes to watch a magical desert sunset.
Day 5 – Ghadames & Desert Sunset
Continue discovering the countless attractions of Ghadames ⮕ End the day with another unforgettable sunset in the desert.
Day 6 – Return Toward Tripoli via Kabaw
Say farewell to the oasis city of Ghadames and begin the return trip toward Tripoli ⮕ Stop in Kabaw to explore its ancient heritage sites ⮕ Continue to Tripoli for dinner and overnight.
Day 7 – Ghayran Underground Buildings
After breakfast, travel back to Tripoli, stopping en route to visit the underground Bedouin structures of Ghayran ⮕ Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 – Departure
Breakfast at the hotel ⮕ Transfer to the airport for the return flight to Budapest.
