🗓 Full Itinerary
Day 1:
Departure from Budapest on a scheduled flight to Algiers, the capital of Algeria, with one stopover. Arrival in the late evening. Hotel check-in and rest.
Day 2:
The next morning, we begin exploring Algiers. We visit Martyrs’ Square and the old Kasbah. At the Bardo National Museum, we learn about Algeria’s fascinating history. Lunch will be served in a traditional restaurant where we can taste authentic Arab dishes. After discovering additional sights and enjoying the sunset, we return to the hotel.
Day 3:
After breakfast, we travel to the city of Tipaza, approximately one hour away. We explore the remains of Roman-era buildings and visit the Tipaza Museum. After lunch, we return to Algiers. Along the way, we stop to visit the Sidi Faraj mausoleum. Back at the hotel, we pack up for the night transfer to the airport, from where a late-night flight will take us to Djanet, located in the heart of the desert.
Day 4:
After our night flight, we rest a bit, then begin our morning excursion to explore the areas of Tin Arsu and Berge in the desert.
Day 5:
Visit to Al-Bir, where we admire ancient rock formations and prehistoric cave paintings.
Day 6:
Today we head into the red desert of Tin Merzouga.
Day 7:
We continue exploring the desert landscapes of Talafzo and Anthihag.
Day 8:
Today’s journey takes us through further breathtaking desert scenery as we head toward the regions of Tiflag and Testka.
Day 9:
After breakfast, we explore the city of Djanet, where we also visit the bustling local market for shopping. Later, we return to the hotel to prepare for the early-morning return flight to the capital.
Day 10:
After arriving early in the morning, we take a short stroll through the city to pick up souvenirs. In the early afternoon, we board our flight back to Budapest, with one stopover.
